About PureMetrix
Cookieless web analytics built so site owners can understand traffic—without turning every visitor into a surveillance target.
The story
I spent years in compliance and governance—steering management systems, translating regulation into something teams can actually run, and living with European privacy expectations day to day. Alongside that I completed an Executive MBA at the Technical University of Munich (TUM) and an LL.M. in Information Law. That mix is not a CV line for me; it is why PureMetrix exists.
Useful numbers and visitor privacy should not be a forced trade-off. Too many analytics products still treat people as data points for ad networks, then leave site owners with cookie walls, blocked scripts, and claims that do not match the software. I wanted the opposite: a clear dashboard, a lightweight script, EU-hosted collection, and a business model that does not depend on selling visitor data.
PureMetrix is that product—developed and operated by me as a sole proprietorship in Germany. Legal details are on the imprint. Building it is how I put compliance judgement, product thinking, and entrepreneurship into one place I care about.
What PureMetrix stands for
No cookies on your visitors. No advertising profiles. No selling visitor data. You pay for a subscription; that is the product. Infrastructure runs on Hetzner in the EU; payments go through Stripe.
PureMetrix does not invent customer counts or claim open-source status it does not have. When I talk about privacy, it matches what the software does—hashing with a salt that changes daily, no tracking of people across days. For the model see the Privacy Policy, cookieless analytics, and DPA. Cookie-banner rules still depend on your jurisdiction and setup; I describe the model so your lawyer can decide.
How PureMetrix is funded
Customer subscriptions fund the product. Visitor data is not a side revenue stream. If you want to talk, use contact—or start from pricing.
