WordPress analytics plugin
Install PureMetrix on WordPress without editing theme files—setup wizard, same-origin proxy, and WooCommerce purchase tracking included.
Install
- Get the PureMetrix Analytics plugin (from WordPress.org once it is listed there, or download it from your PureMetrix account).
- Activate it. The setup wizard opens automatically (PureMetrix → Setup).
- On the Connect step, click to connect with PureMetrix in one go, or paste a Site ID or connect token from the dashboard.
- On the Go live step, you can send a test pageview, then open the dashboard (or turn on Live Charts to see it right inside WordPress).
- Later, under Settings → PureMetrix, turn on the same-origin proxy if ad blockers block tracking from outside domains.
WooCommerce
Shops can send each Purchase with its order revenue directly from the server. Extra purchase details currently include fields such as item_count and coupon. See ecommerce revenue tracking.
Proxy
The paths /px/js and /px/event keep tracking requests on your own domain. WordPress-specific notes: proxy guide and WordPress integration.
Privacy
The plugin does not set PureMetrix visitor cookies. Other WordPress plugins might. The visitor stats PureMetrix stores are hosted in the EU on Hetzner. Sharing anonymous plugin usage data with us is optional in the wizard (change it anytime under Settings → Privacy).
Also available for Shopify and Next.js.
