Countries

See which countries your visitors come from (and regions or cities, where the dashboard shows them).

Where

Open the site dashboard → Countries. Click a country to show Sources, Pages and Goals for that country only.

Good to know

The location is worked out from the IP address when the visit arrives; the IP itself is not stored. Visitors using a VPN or proxy may show up in the wrong country.
If you serve PureMetrix through your own domain (proxy), the proxy must pass on the visitor’s IP in the X-Forwarded-For header — otherwise all visits appear to come from your server’s location.

Verify

Open https://app.puremetrix.org and check that the menus and buttons match this guide.
After changing the tracking code, open your site in a private browser window and check that the visit shows up in Realtime.
If numbers look wrong, check the domain and public key, the Free plan limit, and your bot and user-role exclusions.
