Delete site data

Remove a website from your account, for example when a client leaves or a domain is no longer used.

  1. Export anything you still need.
  2. Remove the tracking code, WordPress connection or Shopify pixel from the website.
  3. Delete the website under Site settings → Danger zone.

Verify

  • Open https://app.puremetrix.org and check that the menus and buttons match this guide.
  • After changing the tracking code, open your site in a private browser window and check that the visit shows up in Realtime.
  • If numbers look wrong, check the domain and public key, the Free plan limit, and your bot and user-role exclusions.
