Outbound link clicks

Count clicks on links that lead away from your website, once outbound-link tracking is switched on.

Enable

Site settings → General → Tracking → outbound links (data-outbound="true"), or switch on the same option in the WordPress plugin.

Useful for affiliate links, partner websites and documentation hosted on another domain.

Verify

Open https://app.puremetrix.org and check that the labels there match this guide.
After any change to the snippet, visit your site once in a private window to send a test pageview.
If numbers look wrong, check the domain and public key, the Free-plan limit, and whether bots or user roles are excluded.
