Subdomain and hostname filter
Narrow down your stats when one public key covers several related hostnames (e.g. shop.example.com and blog.example.com), or when you want to look at just one of them.
- For clean reports, create one site per live hostname.
- To look at a single subdomain for a while, use the dashboard filters.
- If you use a proxy, it must pass on the Host and forwarded headers correctly.

- Open https://app.puremetrix.org and confirm the control labels match this guide.
- After any snippet change, open your site in a private window to send a test pageview.
- If numbers look wrong, check the domain and public key, the Free plan limit, and whether bots or logged-in roles are excluded.
